Nissa Olsen

Kansas

Nissa Olsen is the 20-year-old daughter of Livia Olsen, and the granddaughter of Don & Charlotte Olsen of Fancy Creek Charolais. She is currently a senior in the Animal Science and industry Department at Kansas State University. She grew up in the Kansas Flint Hills helping her grandpa with his Charolais herd and she has continued managing his herd after he passed away. She was President of her high school’s FFA chapter, and an officer in the Kansas Junior Charolais Association, and the AIJCA. Nissa is a member of K-State’s Meats Judging Team and is active in the Collegiate Cattlewomen’s organization. After meats judging, she plans to competent on K-State’s Livestock Judging Team. She enjoys working with kids through volunteering with FFA, 4-H, her church, and doing a youth-focused internship with K-State Extension in 2024. She plans to graduate from Kansas State in May 2026, and pursue graduate studies.

Jessi Hanskins

Missouri

Jessi Hankins is the 14-year-old daughter of Jason and Pam Hankins of Springfield Mo. Together, with her family, they own and operate Hankins Farms. She attended her first junior nationals before she was even one-year old, in Grand Island, Nebraska in 2011 and has not missed one since. The first junior nationals she showed cattle at was Brookings, South Dakota in 2020 when she was 8 years old. Outside of showing, Jessi is a volunteer student teacher during children's church at Sac River Cowboy Church and an active member in the youth program at North Point Church. She served a leadership role on the lighthouse team at Price Elementary in Republic, Mo. Jessi is also a member of the National Junior Honors Society at Republic Middle School. She is a member of the SoPoCo 4-H group and the Missouri Cattlemen's Association. She is a member of the Missouri Junior Charolais Breeders Association and the American-International Junior Charolais Association. She is a member of the Missouri Junior Red Angus Association, the American Red Angus Junior Association, and the American Junior Simmental Association. Jessi loves helping the younger generation and hopes to be a mentor just like the others have been to her as a younger kid.
